In the third and final interview of a three-part video masterclass, Abbey Road engineers Andrew and Paul discuss the different roles within the Studio team during a session. What does a typical team look like? From lead engineer and assistant engineer through to the runner and knowing when to step in and when to step back. Paul also shares his advice on taking opportunities wherever you can to learn new skills and experience different situations to best prepare for the working world.
Between the two of them, Andrew and Paul have worked on many film scores and with a wide variety of artists. Past credits include Guardians of the Galaxy, Steve Jobs and Mission Impossible, to the Oscar-winning score for Gravity as well as with Kylie, Paolo Nutini, Ed Sheeran and on scores for Harry Potter, The Hobbit and Fantastic Beasts.
