Abbey Road Engineers Andrew Dudman & Paul Pritchard – Part 2 Interview

Welcome to Part Two of our online masterclass with Abbey Road Engineers Andrew Dudman and Paul Pritchard

In the second interview of a three-part video masterclass, Andrew and Paul discuss the importance of preparation prior to recording. In particular, when working on large orchestral recordings when time is money – in the region of £200 per minute – not a second can be wasted! They also discuss what it’s like starting out working in a studio environment and the level of commitment it takes to progress.

In case you missed it you can catch the first interview here on our blog. And we’ll be following up with the third part soon where Andrew and Paul share further insights from behind the scenes at Abbey Road. These short films were created during their visit to our school in Paris.
