Over three days in November (7th, 8th & 12th), coinciding with the 91st Anniversary, Abbey Road Studios opened their doors to the next generation of artists, producers, composers and creatives for Abbey Road Amplify, a free festival featuring panel discussions, masterclasses and Q&As.
Abbey Road Institute lecturer Jason O’Bryan gave an in-depth masterclass on The Art of Sampling. Watch Jason’s talk as he deep-dives into the world of sampling. Learn why sampling has become one of the most influential and inspiring tools in modern music and how it can be applied to your music, from original production to songwriting.
For more insights on all things sampling, head to our past blogs ‘The Art of Sampling in Music’ and ‘Sampling | Its Role In Hip-Hop And Its legacy In Music Production Today. Find out more about Jason in this short interview on our blog.
