Tom Larner

Tom Larner graduated from Abbey Road Institute in 2017 and now works as an Agent in the Music department at WME.

Following his graduation, Tom decided to gear his career ambitions towards the music business/label & management areas of the industry, rather than production and engineering. This decision was partly inspired by his music business lecturer, Ian Ramage, whose lectures provided a compelling insight into business aspects of the music industry. Six years ago, an amazing opportunity arose to work at one of the world’s leading booking agencies, WME.

Since joining WME in 2017, Tom has had the opportunity to work across several of the various music departments. Beginning in the international festival sector, Tom assisted in booking WME’s diverse roster of clients onto 50+ major festivals across the UK & Europe, from London’s All Points East festival to Sziget Festival in Hungary. Since then, Tom has worked alongside agents James Simmons and Ella Street, whom he assisted in booking global tours for a variety of headline artists such as Hot Chip, James Blake, Kaiser Chiefs, LP, Madness, Nilufer Yanya, Rick Astley, Teddy Swims and many more.

In the spring of 2022, Tom’s ambition was realised, and he was promoted to Agent. He now works closely alongside WME Partner David Levy on clients, including international artists such as Bjork, Calvin Harris, Janelle Monae, Matteo Bocelli, Vince Staples and more. Tom is continuing to build his own roster of artists at WME, recently signing rising star Erin LeCount, a London-based alt-pop artist.
