Ian Ramage started his music career in manufacturing & production, before finding his way into the business proper from a pressing plant into Polydor Records. He progressed through product management and marketing roles to Director of Marketing at EMI, working with Kate Bush, Pink Floyd, Diana Ross, to mention just a few.
He then made the move to publishing A&R, enjoying 12 years at BMG, then a further 2 at Sony ATV, working with a broad spectrum of artists and writers including; Coldplay, Keane, Richard Hawley, Neil Hannon, Feist, Elvis Costello, The Cure.
Ian serves as VP, repertoire & marketing, UK for BMG, working with a number of fine creative musicians including Jarvis Cocker, Richard Hawley, British Sea Power and Sparks. In his role at BMG, Ian ensures UK musicians get proper exposure to the US market.
