James Brennan

James Brennan is an Abbey Road Institute graduate and member of our Technician team! While studying our Music Production course, Brennan produced, mixed and mastered a single titled ‘Moon Project.’ The track was made for multi-faceted folk artist Dan Ottewell and featured plays across BBC Introducing and Radio X.

He plays as a drummer for various acts in London and beyond. Some clientele include Brooke Law, Matt and the Night Walkers, Jessi Mac and more. He’s played previous live dates at renowned festivals Boomtown festival and Black Deer Festival. He has also had sold-out performances at Rough Trade Nottingham and Paper Dress Vintage, Hackney.

Additionally, James is a member of the London-based group Rolo Vango. The band is working on a new EP, which is scheduled for release in 2024. The EP was recorded at our Custom 75 studio at Abbey Road Studios and was co-produced by Brennan amongst fellow technician Yago Fernández.

Moving forward, Brennan is excited to assist students with technical support in this role. In addition, he is also thrilled by the opportunity to work as a runner on sessions in Angel One and is eager to find ways to help engineers and producers in the studio.
