Paul Pritchard

Paul Pritchard is a respected recording and mixing engineer from Bristol, with 18 years of experience working at Abbey Road. As a teenager, Paul played guitar in bands in and around his hometown of Bristol which introduced him to the art of recording. He saved up for a four-track cassette recorder and has never looked back.

Paul joined Abbey Road as a runner in 2007 on a placement scheme from the prestigious Tonmeister course at the University of Surrey; his warmth, willingness and attention to detail was an instant hit with the staff so he was invited to become a permanent fixture after graduating in 2009.

His credits include sessions for Noel Gallagher, Stormzy, Paolo Nutini and Sam Fender amongst many others. He has also worked on many film projects including Wonka, Beetle Juice Beetle Juice and Mufasa.

Paul Pritchard gives guest lectures on his experience and knowledge gained through his work at the world’s most famous recording studios.
