Nikolay Georgiev
Nikolay Georgiev is a London based engineer, producer and plug-in developer. He is highly experienced in teaching sound engineering and music production and is a regular panellist and speaker at international events. In 2015 he was the national chairman of the UK section of the Audio Engineering Society. As an executive committee member, he became the founder of the now highly successful UK annual audio student event ‘Up your Output!’. Nikolay holds a 1st class BA in Philosophy from the University of Sofia and a UK diploma in Music Production.

 

As an engineer, Nikolay loves working in studios but is known as someone with a great deal of recording experience on-location and in spaces with unusual acoustics. Some of his credits include recording, mixing and mastering work for the Arditti String Quartet, composer Dario Palermo and many classical and experimental avant-garde musicians. Nik also works closely with Acustica Audio, both as internal and external 3rd party plug-in developer. He is the developer for plug-ins such as Lime and Navy, the bigger part of Cream and some of the modules in Pink.
