Diane Wagg
Diane Wagg owns Deluxxe Management and Ideal Music Productions and is Chairman of the Music Manager’s Forum (MMF UK). She’s managed the international careers of numerous artists signing them to Major and Independent labels and run self-releasing artist businesses. A regular panellist on artist management and development, she is also an assessor for music business degree courses.
Her roster has included Brit/Ivor nominated Triple Platinum act, Scouting for Girls, Beth Orton, Republica, Mike Scott (The Waterboys), Rialto, Touriste, Lockdown Project and Sunhouse. Emerging artists include Cortney Dixon, Diives and Nik Lloyd.
Diane started out in A & R at EMI Records before working with Philip Lynott and Thin Lizzy. Prior to setting up her own artist management companies, she was Director of record producer Tony Visconti’s (David Bowie, T.Rex, The Boomtown Rats) group of companies and managed Visconti’s Good Earth Recording Studios (now Dean Street Studios) in London.
Diane is a guest speaker at Abbey Road Institute and lectures on artist management and development within the evolving music industry.
