Thursday 15 September 2016 was a night to remember for Abbey Road Institute, as we celebrated our inaugural graduation ceremony for our first graduates of the Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering in the iconic Studio Two.
The night kicked off with a warm welcome from Abbey Road Studio’s Managing Director Isabel Garvey, Luca Barassi, Managing Director of Abbey Road Institute and Adam Barker, Director of Business Affairs at Universal Music, who set the scene for the evening, introducing our first cohort of students to Universal and the wider music industry and recognising their diversity of skills and talent.
The evening was a real celebration of all the hard work put in by students and staff alike at the Institute and an opportunity to see them in action on the night, with live performances entertaining our ever supportive and illustrious collaborators and industry partners.
From the team at Abbey Road Institute, we’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone that joined us. And we’re looking forward to following our graduates in the coming years as their careers progress – a huge well done!
