Theo Ellis

Theo Ellis is a talented pianist, engineer and producer from Reigate. He is passionate about creating technicoloured music that champions undiscovered artists in the UK dance and rap scene.

In February 2025, Theo graduated from our Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering. Since completing his studies, Theo has joined our technician team. Here, he provides students with essential tips and relevant experience to help them reach their full potential. This varies from tech support to basic music theory.

Additionally, as a technician, Theo’s role involves running opportunities for commercial sessions in Angel One. Ensuring sessions run smoothly and helping artists and production teams achieve commercial and creative success across their projects.

Over the years, Theo has engineered and produced for emerging and established talent within the UK rap scene, including, but not limited to, Twyce and Jordy. A project Theo is most proud of is his debut EP, which he worked on with rising rapper Lorry. The EP blends Jazz, UKG, dance and broken beat and is a testament to their journeys navigating the UK underground rap scene.

Currently, Theo Ellis is writing music with Abbey Road Institute Music Production alumnus, Fursey Rossi. The project is a concoction of soulful house music with lo-fi UKG influences. Additionally, Theo is working on a UKG sync album for JW Media and a separate summer dance project with Lorry.
