Stanley Spilman
Stanley Spilman completed our Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering in 2022. Following his studies, Stanley went onto work as a technician at our Angel Studios between 2022 – 2024.
Stanley’s interests have always been at the junction of the creative and the technical aspects of music. During his childhood, the alumni often spent his time exploring music technology and experimenting with instruments.
He joined the Institute in 2021 after a decade long career in the music industry as a Songwriter and Artist. His decision to study with us in 2021 enabled him to consolidate his skills and knowledge. Studying Music at the University of East Anglia, there he met and formed a band with two fellow music students.
Signing to Parlophone and published by B-Unique Records. In the early 2010s, the project took him to renowned festivals Glastonbury, Latitude and Radio 1’s Big Weekend. A talented songwriter and artist, throughout his career the alumni has worked with artists such as George Ezra, James Bay and Sharna Bass.
Since then, Stanley’s music continues to be published and synchronised around the world. His ambitions for the future include establishing a non-profit studio to provide recording facilities for those without label help or financial backing.
