James Williams
Graduating from us in 2023, Music Production alumnus James Williams has since joined us as one of our newest technicians. This new role entails helping students with their coursework/exams and assisting with commercial sessions at Angel One.
A talented singer-songwriter and producer, the alumnus currently works under the moniker of James Grace, a musical project showcasing his distinctive and intimate style of writing within a signature blend of pop, gospel and folk.
When discussing his music career to date, some of his biggest achievements include recording at Abbey Road Studio Two, producing emerging alternative act Emmélin’s “I Flee but I Long” and most of all, recording his own EP with his classmates during his studies at the Institute.
Right now, you can catch James performing tracks from his debut EP around London in preparation for its release. He recently played his first headline show of 2024 at The Finsbury, London in March, and in April, is set to play intimate acoustic sets at Quiet Light Sessions and Morocco Bound – both in London Bridge.
Moving forward, the alumnus is ambitious about establishing himself as a commercial songwriter collaborating in the industry. He is also in the process of writing and arranging new material for his debut album.
