Diogo Panico
Diogo Panico is a technician at Abbey Road Institue and a freelance music producer, mix engineer and guitarist. Diogo joined our Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering and completed his studies with us in 2021. Prior to studying with us, Diogo worked for a variety of studios and for broadcast and TV shows editing and mixing music and audio content. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Diogo previously studied graphic design, graduating in 2008 before deciding to change directing and pursue a career in the music industry.
Working at Globo TV, Diogo had the opportunity to work in the field of audio post production, mixing and working on sound design for entertainment programmes and soap operas such as ‘A Grande Familia’, ‘Elis’ and ‘Justiça’. Whilst doing this, Diogo also developed his skills in scoring for motion picture and sound design for advertising agencies as a freelancer.
Diogo moved to London in 2020 to continue to develop his skills as an engineer and producer by studying with us at Abbey Road Institute London. Outside of his work with us and his freelance work, Diogo enjoys working as a mix engineer freelancing and collaborating with his fellow alumni. He also continues to work in the fields of producing, video editing and cinematography.
