Daniel Martindale

Daniel Martindale
Since graduating in 2020, Daniel Martindale spreads his expertise across multiple areas of interest. He is a freelance writer, producer and mixing engineer. Daniel is currently working on his own solo material and he works out of Studio 13 in West London as an Assistant / Assistant Engineer.

Daniels responsibilities can range from recording, producing and mixing, to working closely with artists from the Electronic and R&B genre, to working on sessions with Jorja Smith, Stormzy and Wale. As well as working sessions, he works closely with Riccardo Damian as part of a group at Studio 13. He is in charge of inventory, redesigning, preparing studios for sessions, cleaning and rewiring.

Daniel considers every project he works on to be a highlight. He says he is extremely grateful for the music he was able to create at ARI using his skills in writing, recording, engineering, producing and mixing and is excited to release in the near future. Other highlights include the Jorja Smith sessions at Studio 13, and overall just getting to utilise his time in the studio environment with valuable mentorship from Riccardo Damian.

Daniel’s goals for the future are to release more music and to focus on his own artistry whilst still freelancing.  He is constantly looking for new artists to collaborate with whilst also aiming to keep a long-standing relationship with his current collaborators.
