Chris Goldsmith

Chris Goldsmith is a talented guitarist and songwriter who graduated from our Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering course in 2024. Since completing his studies, Chris has started a new role as a Studio Manager/Engineer at the Thin White Duke Recording Studios in Soho.
His role involves managing the studio diary, bookings and memberships. Additionally, he engineers all member sessions, from recording to editing, mixing/mastering, production and instrumentation as required.
Chris began learning guitar at the age of seven. He later went on to play numerous gigs in a variety of emerging bands. Now with a taste for live music, Chris began to explore the art of production through his side project BirdyHop.
Over the past year, Chris has continued to expand his professional portfolio. Recently, he produced Vieux Farka Toure and worked on The Hardest Part Podcast. The latter involved live sessions with The Amazons, Jack Garratt, Anna B Savage, Sophie Jamieson, among others. Chris continues to produce EPs/Singles/albums for up-and-coming bands and artists set to release music in 2026.
As well as producing for others, Chris has a solo project he’s working on titled LostSun. Right now, he’s working towards an EP for it. Regarding other projects, Chris continues to do regular guitar sessions for a range of small studios/collectives in and around London. Most frequently, BPM and Sun City Studios. On top of this, he’s in the finishing process of mixing the recordings from Vieux Farka Toure and two albums for a couple of upcoming artists.
Right now, Chris is working on a new, exciting project. He’s mixing ‘Jackson’s Hole’ – a mystery thriller directed by Juri Koll. As for what’s next, Chris wants to explore production houses for potential sync opportunities.
