Balazs Szabo
After completing his studies in 2018 Balazs Szabo moved back to Budapest and secured a job at Pannonia Studios as a recording and mixing engineer. Pannonia is one of the most respected and established recording studios in Hungary, built for recording purposes in the 1950s. Balazs’ role was to set up, record or mix orchestral or pop sessions/projects. Since joining the team, one of his most memorable moments was his first working day, assisting on the orchestral recording for Ferenc Rófusz – The Last Suppers session. In addition to studio work, Balazs worked as a freelancer under the professional name Deadman’s Recordings. His work encompassed a broad range of music industry projects including production, engineering and mastering of albums, film soundtracks, live recording, sound reinforcement (BBC Worldwide).
