Alex Gordon

Since graduating from our Advanced Diploma in Audio Post Production for Film and TV, Alex Gordon has continued to freelance as an audio engineer/mixer.

Predominantly working at Electric Studios, Brighton, Alex’s day-to-day routine usually involves recording and mixing bands. Having worked across several projects in the film and TV industry, so far, Alex has built a credible portfolio as a freelance audio engineer/mixer. Some of his biggest jobs include VO work and most recently a Foley and Sound FX editing project for an independent feature film. 

As for career highlights, Alex has a couple that spring to mind. Whether working with The Cure on their production rehearsals for their tours over the last few years or engineering Tigercub’s album The Perfume of Decay – Alex reflects on these experiences beamingly. 

Since completing our Audio Post Production course, Alex says he’s “enjoying the challenge of doing something new!” Keen to continue working with musicians and recording/mixing, Alex is looking for more jobs in the film industry moving forward.
