Ramera Abraham
Ramera Abraham is a London-based vocal producer, songwriter, and recording engineer. Having spent her formative years studying music in the Philippines, she is classically trained in piano, vocals, and drums. After completing her undergraduate degree in Canada, Ramera moved to London in 2017 to study our Advanced Diploma in Sound Engineering and Music Production course at Abbey Road Institute.
Upon graduating from the Institute, Ramera earned an engineering residency at Spotify’s Noteable studio, under the mentorship of Berklee College of Music. It was there that she dealt with daily studio operations and delved into the world of vocal production and engineering. After her Spotify residency, she became a runner and then assistant engineer at Metropolis Studios, where she assisted on several projects. These include: Little Mix’s last two albums, Grammy-nominated musical theatre album “Cinderella” with Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Nick Cave and Warren Ellis’ album, Carnage.
Ramera is now a freelance vocal producer, songwriter, and engineer, working with clients across various studios in London including Platoon 7, Studio 13, and Strongroom. Some of her biggest career highlights include engineering across JADE’s debut solo album, That’s Showbiz Baby, vocal producing a handful of JADE’s feature tracks [Boy Crazy with Kesha, HOT with Le Sserafim, Angel of Satisfaction with Rose Gray], as well as vocal producing two songs on PinkPantheress’s remix album, Fancy Some More. Ramera was also included in SheSaid. So’s Alternative Power 100 List 2021 as one to watch, was nominated for the Music Producers Guild’s Recording Engineer of the Year 2024 and 2026, and won the Music Producers Guild’s Vocal Producer of the Year 2023. The majority of her work spans across the pop, K-pop, and R&B genres.
