Anaïs Johnson

Anaïs Johnson

Anaïs Johnson is a performer, producer and engineer from London who graduated from our Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering in October 2025. Prior to this, she spent three formative years at Junior Guildhall before going on to achieve a BA in Music at the University of Manchester.

Now part of the Abbey Road Institute team, Anaïs works as a technician, supporting students as they navigate both technical and creative challenges and ensuring they have the guidance they need throughout their studies. Alongside this, they assist as a runner for commercial sessions in Angel One, helping to ensure sessions run smoothly and that clients are well looked after.

A classically trained violinist and pianist, Anaïs has performed with a variety of ensembles at renowned venues such as the Royal Festival Hall and the Royal Albert Hall. While studying at the Institute, she also engineered a session for Manchester-based artist, Tesni, and now she continues to explore her creative side as the violinist in shyplaces, a band formed with fellow ARI alumni.

Looking ahead, Anaïs Johnson aims to release her own alternative pop music while continuing to collaborate with other musicians and explore new artistic projects.
